This hotel is a hidden gem on the hillside with breathtaking views of the ocean. The rooms, especially the ones with private bathrooms, are clean and comfortable. The owners go above and beyond to provide excellent service, like upgrading us for free and giving helpful recommendations for nearby restaurants and attractions. The breakfast options are delicious, with a mix of Japanese and Western dishes.

I had an incredible stay at this hotel in Atami. the location was perfect as it was very close to Nagahama beach, which was ideal for kids. The hotel, situated on top of a hillside, offered breathtaking sea views that added to the overall charm. Secondly, the staff provided exceptional service and attention to detail. They upgraded my room to one with a private bathroom for free, which was a pleasant surprise. Lastly, the breakfast served by the hotel was absolutely delicious and definitely worth trying.

The location was great, just a short walk to the beach and with access to other nearby locations by train. the terrace was a big plus, providing a great spot to chill and enjoy the surroundings.

The transportation to the hotel was a bit tricky, especially at night. It would have been helpful to have more information about this before arrival.

We were delighted with the amazing service provided by the hosts at Hotel 2Yl. They went out of their way to ensure our comfort and took us to a local restaurant, even picking us up later in their van. The homemade onion rolls in the morning were a delicious touch. a highly recommended stay.

Had a lovely experience during our new year stay. The ocean view from the room was stunning, and we loved the comfortable bed and pillows. We also appreciated the free pick-up from the local station, despite arriving at 7 pm. The hot bath was relaxing, and we enjoyed sipping green tea while sitting at the table and chairs near the window, taking in the beautiful views. The staff was sincere, friendly, and offered great services.

We felt a little disappointed that no dinner was available nearby, and there was only one complimentary teabag for each person in the room. It would have been helpful if the hotel had provided shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom.

This hotel has a great location near the ocean, but unfortunately it is down a steep hill. However, the hotel provides bikes or a car ride to help you get around. The traditional Japanese rooms and lovely breakfast are nice, but the bathroom lacked shampoo and conditioner. there was only one teabag per person in the room. The bed and pillows were comfortable, and the big bath was a plus.

The hotel lacked an elevator, which made carrying luggage difficult.
